Over the year, our donations have fallen to just $125 a month. To keep God's iPod "on air", it costs about $800 per month. Thursday the 6th March was an exciting day for us iPhone users. Apple has announced and released a beta version of the iPhone SDK. This means that web apps like this site won't be needed and will probably all but disappear. I have decided though, that instead of abandoning my efforts, I will turn God's iPhone into an installable Bible application. Now this is a BIG deal, because I have never written a line of computer code since BASIC in high school. This will be an entirely new challenge for me. But I will try. And like all the good things in life, it will be free!

I must tell you though, I am not allowed to work in the USA. I am here on a ministry visa, and I can live here a long time, but I am not allowed to work. Though I would be allowed to make and sell the Bible app, but I don't want to sell it. So if you have an excess, please give to those in need. Like me. Thanks :)

UPDATE: OK, trying to learn to code software is HARD. I need some help. If you know ObjectiveC/XCode, please come help me :)

OK, I got a bit of a shock... I didn't think anyone was using my site, so I stopped updating it. Well, we'll hit 10,000+ users this month, so I'm a little blown away. I will try to get the remaining Bible books online before the end of Feb. I make no money from this, so please consider making a donation.

Well, I have covered a lot of ground, and today and this week will be doing even more to get the rest of the OT done. I have some exciting plans for this site, and I have made a wonderful new friend who is currently working with me to create some nice new things for the navigation of the site. Right now my priority is to get the text online, but that is only the very beginning.

Some of the links in the Psalms were not good. They have all been fixed. Let me know if you find ANY other bugs in God's iPhone.

Well I'll be around the USA for the next little while, my trip to India fell through at the last moment. I am now done with school so I have time to get the rest of the Old Testament online and a few more select Christian Classics.

I am also now available to speak here in the states. As you have probably already discovered, there is now a new major link. Christian Classics. In this new section I will be adding some choice Christian Classics that have passed their copyright. First up, the perennial favorite and the most influential book outside of the Bible in my life, AW Tozer's, The Pursuit of God. Enjoy.

Get the latest iPhone update, it brings a near-double speed increase to using God's iPhone. Just sync your iPhone.

This is taking much longer than I was expecting. I hope you can see that my font choice and layout have been crafted carefully to make this Bible extremely readable on an iPhone. Israel.

OK, Psalms is online. This was exhausting. I will keep going, but send me an email and say thanks if you like it. ;)

I am now working on the Old Testament starting with Psalms. Yesterday we had 4975 people using this Bible. That's amazing. I never expected it would be used by so many so quickly. I will be working hard on the rest of the Bible and a few other surprises as well. I have no desire to be "the best" iPhone Bible - I am just doing what I believe God is telling me to do. Please pray for me.

OK, with the exception of Revelation, the NT is complete. Ok, I couldn't go to sleep without doing Revelation as well. So now the entire NT is online. Please give me feedback!!

John is now online, and that completes the Gospels. Hopefully this is already becoming useful for you. Israel. OK, I have put Acts through Hebrews, online now too. THAT took a long time!! Receiving your encouraging emails really helps! I have decided to stop adding the navigation links at the bottom of each chapter until I have got all the text up. This is making things a lot easier.

Luke is now online. I hope you are all liking the way it is formatted. I wanted something that looked just like a real printed Bible, and I believe it does. The words of Christ in red is taking me a very long time. I have to compare to another version with red letters as the text I have is not colored already. I would appreciate your feedback as doing this sort of thing is a lonely business and it would be great to hear from people that plan to use this once it's complete. It will encourage me to keep going. Israel.

Matthew and Mark is all done now. There are some interface changes I'll be making and I hope to make it load faster over Edge too, though the code is already very lean. I will be waiting though until all the New Testament is online before making any GUI changes, unless I get bored of editing and formatting text :) The Bible will be posted in this order... The New Testament in normal order, The Psalms, The Torah, The Proverbs, The Prophets and then the rest. I am working as fast as I can. Please pray for me that I can get this done before August 25 when I will be leaving for a 3 month mission in India and Nepal.
